At Sacramento State: During the fall, Cavanagh sat at two with the second varsity eight at the Newport Rowing Festival...also stroked the team’s third eight at the Head of the American.

Prior to Sacramento State: Rowed for Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, Calif., for two years (2004-06)...sat at both port and starboard.

High School: A 2004 graduate of Torrey Pines High School in San Diego...rowed from 2000-04 for her high school club team...named team MVP in 2002-03...posted a 2000-meter ergometer time of 7:28.7, which was the fastest 2K time at the boathouse.

Personal: Born Aug. 31, 1985...daughter of Mary Cavanagh...a criminal justice major...has a personal best time of 7:21.6 on the 2,000-meter ergometer test.
