As a sophomore (2006): Competed with the team’s second varsity four (two seat) at the Sacramento State Invitational...also sat at two with the four which placed fifth at the PCRC’s.

As a freshman (2005): Appeared in every race with the Hornets’ novice eight...spent the first seven races in the six seat before being shifted to the four seat...also appeared in the two seat with the novice four in one race...helped the novice eight to the team’s first-ever gold medal at the WIRA Championships.

High School: A 2004 graduate of River City High School in West Sacramento...competed two years (2002-04) with the River City Rowing Club at the Port Sacramento...won a bronze medal at the Junior Indoor Rowing Championships during the 2003-04 season.

Personal: Born March 5, 1986...parents are Michael Meehan and Melinda Kayser...an art major (art studio concentration)...has a 2,000-meter ergometer time of 7:19.1.
