As a sophomore (2006): Competed with the second varsity eight all season in both the three and five seats...also raced in the three seat with the varsity four and the open four at the PCRC’s.
As a freshman (2005): Assumed the bow seat with the novice eight in every spring race...including the WIRA Championships, where the novice eight won its first gold medal in school history.
2003-04: Redshirted with the Sacramento State women’s soccer team.
High School: A 2003 graduate of Granada High School in Livermore, Calif...played basketball, softball and soccer at Granada HS...recipient of both the athletic achievement (soccer) and academic achievement awards (+3.0 gpa) during her senior year.
Personal: Born June 16, 1985...parents are Craig and Maureen Fernandez...a business major (general management concentration) with a 3.21 gpa...competed in gymnastics for nine years...has an erg time of 7:42.3.
