As a junior (2006): Raced with the second varsity eight during the season at the two and four seats...sat at two for all but one race...competed in the two seat with the varsity four and lightweight four.

As a sophomore (2005): Competed in every race with the second varsity eight, primarily in the two seat...also sat in the four seat in two races with the JV8...sat in the two seat with the varsity lightweight four at the Sacramento State Invitational.

As a freshman (2004): Competed in all but one race with the novice eight...rowed primarily in the four seat, but also sat at bow and stroke...won a silver medal as a member of the novice eight (four seat) and the novice lightweight four (stroke) at the WIRA Championships... won a silver with the varsity lightweight four at the PCRC’s (two seat).

High School: A 2003 graduate of Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills, Calif...competed four years for the swimming team...helped lead the Trojans to four-straight Sierra Valley League championships and an undefeated record over that span...was the team captain as a senior.

Personal: Born June 11, 1984...parents are William and Maggie Duale...an organizational communication studies major with a business administration minor...has a 3.21 gpa...has a 2,000-meter erg time of 7:37.4.
