As a freshman (2011): Competed in the six seat with the novice eight in one race, and at stroke with the novice four in three races.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Garces Memorial High School in Bakersfield, Calif...competed in swimming and water polo at the varsity level, while also playing basketball, volleyball and golf an underclassman...in water polo, she was a two-time all-valley selection, including first team as a senior...was part of the 2007 CIF Central Section Div. II championship swimming team...also part of the Div. III section runner-up water polo squad.

Personal: Born June 14, 1992...parents are Steve and Patty Ruettgers...a civil engineering major...uncle, Ken Ruettgers was the seventh overall pick of the Green Bay Packers in the 1985 NFL Draft...played 11 years for the Packers (1985-96) on the offensive line.
