As a senior (2011): Was a team co-captain…competed with both the varsity eight and second varsity eight during the spring…never missed a regatta during her four-year career…sat at bow with the varsity eight in each of the boat’s final five races of the season…won a bronze medal with the varsity eight at the WIRA Championships, and competed with the boat at the Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia.
As a junior (2010): Competed at bow with the second varsity eight in every spring race…helped the boat to a second-place finish in the JV Heavyweight Eight final at the Dad Vail Regatta, as well as a fourth place finish at the WIRA Championships.…has now competed at bow with the JV8 two straight years.
As a sophomore (2009): Competed with the second varsity eight in every spring race...that included eight races at bow, and three times in the three seat...also sat at bow with the second varsity four in one race...has yet to miss a race during her two-year career with the Hornets.
As a freshman (2008): Rowed with the novice eight in every spring race in the four, five and six seats...competed with the boat primarily in the six seat...also sat in the novice four in two races (bow once, three seat once)...sat at three with the team’s silver-medal winning novice four at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Rosemont High School in Sacramento...ran one year of both cross country and track, and four years of soccer...member of the 2007 Rosemont soccer team that finished as co-champions of the Metro League.
Personal: Born March 2, 1989...parents are Doug and Cindy Woolston...majoring in English and minoring in history...played three years of club soccer, and was team captain for the River City Metro.
