As a senior (2011): Competed in nearly every spring race with the second varsity eight…sat in the six seat with the 2V8 towards the beginning of the year, and finished the season in the four seat…sat at four with the gold-medal winning JV8 at the WIRA Championships…that marked just the second time in school history the team’s second varsity eight won gold at WIRA’s and first since 2004…also won bronze with the open eight entry at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships…competed with the varsity eight in one race (four seat), and in the varsity four in one race (two seat).
As a junior (2010): Competed in the four seat with the second varsity eight in all but the first spring race of the season…helped the boat to a second-place finish in the JV Heavyweight Eight final at the Dad Vail Regatta…also rowed with the varsity eight (three seat), and the second varsity four (stroke) on one occasion.
As a sophomore (2009): Rowed in the two seat with the varsity eight in every spring race...that included winning a silver medal with the team’s top boat at the WIRA Championships...the varsity eight went 10-4 with her in the boat, including a victory over Texas, the program’s first against the Longhorns since 2000.
As a freshman (2008): Competed with the novice eight in every race during the spring, including three times in the seven seat, three times in the five seat and twice in the six seat...also rowed with the novice four in three races (twice at stroke, once in the two seat)...stroked the team’s collegiate novice four entry to a silver medal at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Arcadia High School (Arcadia, Calif.)...competed in four years of soccer and two years of track and field for the Apaches...member of the 2007 Pacific League champion track and field team...finished second in the league in the discus, and third at the Los Angeles County Championships in shot put during her senior year.
Personal: Born Feb. 19, 1989...parents are Michael and Blennie Danielson...a liberal studies major...played soccer for the Santa Anita Soccer Club (Arcadia, Calif.) from 2005-07.
