As a senior (2011): A second team all-WIRA selection after competing in every spring regatta with either the varsity eight or second varsity eight…rowed with the varsity eight the boat’s first seven races of the year (six times in the three seat; once in the five seat)…also rowed with the second varsity eight in four races (once in the three seat, three times at five)…sat at five with the JV8 which won gold at the WIRA Championships for the first time since 2004, and also won bronze at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships.
As a junior (2010): Competed with the second varsity eight in every spring race…sat in the seven seat with the JV8 the first two regattas, before racing in the five seat the remainder of the season…helped the boat to a second-place finish in the JV Heavyweight Eight final at the Dad Vail Regatta.
As a sophomore (2009): Competed with the second varsity eight in the boat’s first five races of the spring in both the five and six seats before missing the rest of the year with illness...sat at stroke in one race with the second varsity four.
As a freshman (2008): Spent the majority of the season with the novice eight, including five races in the three seat and one race in the four seat...also sat in the two seat with the second varsity eight in one race...competed in the two seat with the second varsity four at the Sac State Invitational.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Marietta Senior High School in Ohio...competed four years for the rowing team, all on the varsity squad...helped the team to a Midwest Scholastic Rowing team championship in 2004...placed second at the Midwest Scholastic Championships in the varsity single...competed with the varsity eight that placed fourth at the Scholastic Nationals.
Personal: Born Oct. 24, 1988...parents are Bruce and Julie...a government major...competed four years for the Harmar Rowing Club where she was teammates with former Hornet rower Kristen Carlson.
