As a freshman (2009): Competed in the four seat with the novice eight in every spring race...also sat in the two seat in one race with three different boats (varsity four, second varsity four and second novice four)...won a bronze medal with the novice eight at the WIRA Championships.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Evergreen Valley High School in San Jose, Calif...played four years of soccer and two years of softball for the Cougars...in soccer, she was a four-time first team all-league selection...led the Blossom Valley Athletic League in total points in 2005-06...during one of her seasons with Evergreen Valley, she tallied a league-best 27 goals...named the school’s Freshman Athlete of the Year in 2004-05.

Personal: Born May 22, 1991...parents are David and Ruth Brennan...majoring in kinesiology...was among 52 rowers from across the nation selected to attend the USRowing Junior Women’s National Team Selection Camp during the summer of 2009.
