As a senior (2010): Named the team’s most inspirational rower…competed with the varsity eight nearly the entire spring season…sat at two with the team’s top boat on three occasions, and in the four seat on seven occasions…sat at four with the varsity eight which won the WIRA championship, the program’s first gold medal at the event since 2006…also sat at seven with the Hornets’ top boat that won the Varsity Heavyweight Eight championship at the Dad Vail Regatta, the program’s second gold at the event in school history…also sat at six with the second varsity eight on three occasions, and with the varsity four (two seat) one time.
As a junior (2009): Competed in the four seat with the second varsity eight in every spring race...that amounted to a total of 12 races with the second varsity eight...has yet to miss a competition during her two seasons with the Hornets.
As a sophomore (2008): Competed with the novice eight in every spring race...sat in five different seats, including stroke, seven, five, four and bow...sat at five the last three races of the season...also stroked the novice four in one race.
Prior to Sacramento State: Attended Arizona State from 2005-07...did not compete in any sports.
High School: A 2005 graduate of California High School in San Ramon, Calif...competed in two years of soccer and cross country.
Personal: Born Nov. 30, 1986...parents are Peter and Linda Slagle...a business major. |
