As a junior (2008): Began the year with the second varsity eight in the stroke seat (the first two races)...spent the rest of the season with the varsity eight (twice at stroke, five times in the four seat)...sat at stroke with the varsity eight that finished fourth at the San Diego Crew Classic’s Cal Cup grand final...also sat at four with the silver-medal winning varsity eight at the Dad Vail Regatta.

As a sophomore (2007): Sat at stroke for the Hornets’ varsity four in four races...also stroked the third varsity eight in one race.

As a freshman (2006): Competed with the novice eight in every spring race...sat in the four seat for the first three races before finishing the rest of the year in the two seat...that includes the WIRA Championships where the novice eight won a bronze medal.

High School: A 2005 graduate of California High School in San Ramon, Calif...played soccer for two years as the team’s center midfielder and striker.

Personal: Born May 14, 1987...parents are Ken and Kerri Thole...a photography major.
