As a sophomore (2007): Sat in the five seat with the second varsity eight in every race until wrapping up the year in the varsity eight (three seat) at the Pac-10 Championships.

Prior to Sacramento State: Rowed for Gonzaga during the 2004-05 season...spent the 2005-06 season playing basketball for Mendocino College.

High School: A 2004 graduate of Lower Lake High School in California...competed four years of basketball, track and field, and cross country for the Trojans...a four-time all-league selection in cross country (first team three times) and first team all-league selection in basketball as a senior...set the school record in the 800 meters with a time of 2:29.04...in track, she was the Lake County champion in the 4x400, 800, 1600 and 3200 meters...named the Lower Lake High School Female Student-Athlete of the Year in 2004.

Personal: Born July 28, 1986...parents are Don and Karen McMullen...a psychology major with a 3.66 gpa...competed for the Clearlake Scullers (Lakeport, Calif.)...has a personal best 2,000-meter ergometer time of 7:22.3.
