As a sophomore (2007): Sat in both the three (once) and six seat (three times) with the second varsity eight B...also sat at six with the Hornets’ open eight entry that won bronze at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships.

As a freshman (2006): Began the season in the six seat with the second novice eight...however, she was moved up to the novice eight at the San Diego Crew Classic, and remained with the N8 the rest of the season...competed in both the four and six seats with the novice eight...sat at six when the N8 won a bronze medal at the WIRA Championships.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Bret Harte Union High School in Angels Camp, Calif...attended Manteca High School during her freshman and sophomore years...played four years of basketball, two years of tennis and softball, and one season of track and field...helped the Bret Harte basketball team to Mother Lode League championships and Sac-Joaquin section semifinal appearances in 2003-04 and 2004-05...advanced to sections during her first year of shot put and discuss...recipient of the school’s Academic Award during her freshman, sophomore and senior years.

Personal: Born Jan. 22, 1987...parents are Robert and Joan Tarkenton...a family and consumer sciences major...has a 2,000-meter ergometer time of 7:44.3.
