RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. – The Sacramento State women's novice eight defeated UC Davis by eight seconds in a scrimmage Sunday morning at the CSUS Aquatic Center.The Hornets finished the 4,500-meter course with a time of 16:37, followed by UC Davis (16:45) and Sacramento State "B" (18:06).
Sacramento State used a lineup that consisted of Jessica Davis at bow, Katie Begell at the two seat, Andi Ullrey at three, Katie Litvinchuk at four, Dawn Warren at five, Liz Henke at six, Hannah Metzger at seven, Jodi Johnson at stroke and Nicole Reyes at coxswain.
Today's race wrapped up Sacramento State's fall schedule as the team does not compete again until hosting a four-team regatta on March 2. The varsity team wrapped up its fall schedule on Oct. 27 with a victory in the quadruple sculls at the Head of the American.
