SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The women's rowing team earned a bronze metal in the women's lightweight four while competing in the Pacific Coast Rowing Championship at the CSUS Aquatic Center in Rancho Cordova, Calif., Saturday.

Humboldt State won the event with a time of 8:35.0 while UC San Diego captured silver with a time of 8:35.8. The Hornets finished the race with a time of 8:47.9.

The team will return to the water for the Pac-10 Championship on Sunday, May 13, at the CSUS Aquatic Center. The morning heats are scheduled to run from 8 a.m.-10:30 a.m. while the finals are scheduled from 12:10 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.
