SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento State women's rowing team will

appear on the morning television show "Good Day Sacramento" on

Wednesday, May 2, on UPN 31-KMAX.

The television spots, which will air at approximately 7:45 a.m. and

8:15 a.m. and last three minutes each, will preview the team's

upcoming race against UC Davis on Saturday, May 5.

Sacramento State has beaten UC Davis each of the last two seasons and

will try to defend the Jean Runyon Cup again this year. The Hornets,

who are currently 3-3 in dual meets this season, compete at the WIRA

Championship this weekend.
