AS A SENIOR (2009-10)
Benefited from new uptempo style employed by the team...started 16 of 30 contests at the point guard position...ranked fourth on the team in scoring, averaging a career-best 9.6 points per game...ranked third in the Big Sky Conference in assists, averaging 5.1 by contest...scored a career-high 21 points in final regular season contest at Weber State on March 6...averaged 15.0 points, 8.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game over a two game stretch against Idaho State and Weber State, earning Big Sky Player of the Week honors...collected her first career double-double with 13 points and a career-high 10 assists in the Hornets victory at Portland State on Feb. 5.
AS A JUNIOR (2008-09)
Saw the floor in 27 matchups, starting the final 15 contests at the point guard position...team was 7-8 when Garcia started and 2-13 when she didn't...averaged 1.5 points and 1.3 assists per game...scored a season-high six points against Eastern Washington on Feb. 5...tied her career-high of four assists on two occasions...went 4-for-5 at the free throw line at Pacific on Dec. 22.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2007-08)
Appeared in 26 of the Hornets 28 games in a reserve role...was the team's backup point guard, averaging 7.2 minutes per game...scored a career-high five points in the Hornets first game of the year at UC Davis on Nov. 11...knocked down her second career three-pointer in that contest...collected a career-best four assists at Drake Nov. 16...logged a career-high 17 minutes at UC Irvine on Nov. 24.
AS A FRESHMAN (2006-07)
Saw action in 23 games off the Hornet bench during her first season...averaged 7.1 minutes per game as a reserve point guard...scored a then career-high four points at Idaho on Nov. 19...collected a then career-high three assists playing a 16 minutes against Saint Mary’s on Dec. 28...knocked down her first career three-pointer at Montana State on Feb. 15.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2006 graduate of Deer Valley High School in Antioch, Calif...played four seasons at both the point and shooting guard spots for head coach Lindsay Lopez-Wisely...as a senior, led Deer Valley to a 22-6 overall record and a 12-2 mark in the Bay Valley Athletic League...was named team MVP and first team all-BVAL after averaging 18.0 points, 9.0 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 6.0 steals per game...scored 13 points with nine assists and six rebounds against Washington High School in the 2005 West Coast Jamboree Championship game...as a junior, earned second team all-league honors and helped lead the Wolverines to the North Coast Section championship with a 25-4 record...was named second team all-BVAL and team defensive MVP as a sophomore.
