SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento State’s Big Sky Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament game against Northern Arizona on Thursday, March 10, will be broadcast locally on KTKZ 1380 AM, it was announced today. The game against the Lumberjacks can be heard in its entirety beginning at 7 p.m. PST.The radio broadcast from Dahlberg Arena will be simulcast on www.hornetsports.com. The Hornets clinched their first Big Sky Tournament berth since the 1996-97 season with a 57-41 over Eastern Washington on Saturday.
The team is the sixth seed in the tournament and will be playing the Lumberjacks, who secured the third seed with a 76-63 win over Portland State on Saturday.
KTKZ 1380 has served as the home of Sacramento State athletics for the past six years. The station carries all Hornet football and men’s basketball games and has also aired women’s basketball and volleyball.
