Bio:     Andrea Bills begins hers econd season as an assistant coach at Sacramento State, and will work with the Hornets’ post players.
    Under the guidance of Bills, the Hornets had two of the top five rebounders in the Big Sky in 2008-09, Erika Edwards and Atty Boyer. Edwards returns for her senior year after posting a Big Sky leading 13 double-digit rebound games a season ago.
    Bills came to the Nest after finishing a professional career that spanned five countries in the course of three seasons. Bills spent the 2007-08 professional season with the Lithuanian team Arvi Marijampole of the Lietuvos Moteru Krepsinio Lyga, where she was the team’s leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 14.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. Prior to her stint in Lithuania, Bills had professional stops from 2005-07 in Spain, China, the Ukraine, and Israel.
    A native of Moreno Valley, Calif., Bills graduated from the University of Oregon in 2005 with a degree in psychology, after leading the Ducks to the second round of the NCAA Tournament during her senior year. Bills, who stands 6-foot-3, earned all-Pacific 10 Conference honors during her final year in Eugene, averaging 11.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. She left Oregon ranking 12th in school history in career points (1,213) and seventh in career rebounds (825).
    She shared the floor with head coach Jamie Craighead during her freshman season at Oregon, where the duo started 16 games together.
