2008 Season: Qualified for the USATF Junior Nationals and the NCAA West Regional in the shot put…finished second at the Big Sky Championships with a mark of 47-07.25…top mark during the year was 47-07.75 which set the school record…other bests included 138-01 in the discus (which qualified for the Big Sky Championships) and 145-00 in the hammer…indoors, competed in the shot put and weight throw.

High School: Graduated from Ruben S. Ayala HS in Chino Hills, Calif., in 2007…ran four years of track and played three years of basketball for the Bulldogs…holds the school record in the shot put (42-7) and discus (142-1)…was named all-Sierra League in track all four years…qualified for the state meet as a senior…finished second in the shot put at the CIF Masters meet in 2007…was the captain of the basketball team which won the section Div. II title.
