2008 Season: Ran the 100, 200 and 400…qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 400…top times were 10.97 in the 100, 22.12 in the 200 and 48.46 in the 400…indoors, competed in the 200 and 400…ran a season-best 49.61 in the 400 at the Big Sky Championships…was also a member of the 4x400 relay team which won the Big Sky title and set the school record in 3:13.43.
2007 Season: Was a member of the 4x100 relay team which advanced to the NCAA West Regional and placed fourth in 40.34…ran the third leg for the team which set the school record in 40.16 to win the Big Sky meet…also ran the 100, 200 and 400 during the season…led the team with a 400 time of 48.10…other top times were 11.05 in the 100, 21.56 in the 200…indoors, he ran the 200 and 400…ran 49.89 in the 400 for the fastest time on the team…22.39 was his best time in the 200…was a member of the 4x400 relay team which set the school record in 3:15.54.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Union Mine HS in El Dorado, Calif…competed in four years of track and two years of soccer…was the Sierra Valley League champion in the 200 and 400 as a senior…helped lead the team to the 2005 SVC title…was twice named the team MVP.
Personal: Born March 2, 1988…has yet to declare a major…parents are Marty and Jennifer Nelson. |
