|Title:||Volunteer Assistant - Pole Vault|
Former Big Sky champion Lizzy Norvell currently serves as a volunteer assistant at Sacramento State where she works with the team's pole vaulters.
Norvell still holds the school record in the indoor pole vault after clearing 13-05.75 in 2011 to win the Big Sky title. She ranks second in the Hornet outdoor record book with a best of 13-05.25. That height set the school record at the time and held until Danielle Brandon recorded a pole vault of 13-06.25 in 2016.
Norvell was also a member of the Sacramento State gymnastics team during her career where she competed primarily on beam.
She graduated from Sacramento State in 2011 and currently works as the deputy director for external affairs at the California Natural Resources Agency.
