RAIN FORCES CANCELLATION OF FRIDAY’S CAPITAL CLASSIC SCHEDULE

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Due to rains that swept through the Sacramento area overnight and are expected to last throughout the day, Friday’s entire slate of Capital Classic Softball Tournament games have been cancelled. All three of the scheduled games will not be made up.
Weather permitting, Saturday’s schedule will remain the same with Princeton taking on Akron at 9 a.m., Louisville and Akron playing at 11 a.m., Princeton facing Colorado State at 1 p.m., and Louisville and host Sacramento State playing at 3 p.m. Sunday’s schedule features three more games.

Friday, March 16
10 a.m. - Colorado State vs. Louisville (cancelled)
12 p.m. - Colorado State vs. Sacramento State (cancelled)
2 p.m. - Louisville vs. Princeton (cancelled)
Saturday, March 17
9 a.m. - Princeton vs. Akron
11 a.m. - Akron vs. Louisville
1 p.m. - Princeton vs. Colorado State
3 p.m. - Louisville vs. Sacramento State
Sunday, March 18
9 a.m. - Akron vs. Colorado State
11 a.m. - Akron vs. Sacramento State
