A 2012 graduate of Elsinore High School in Wildomar, Calif…a four-year varsity starter for the Tigers at third base and pitcher…was a three-time first team all-Sunbelt League selection (2010-12)…also a two-time all-Valley choice, including second team as a junior and first team as a senior.
Personal
Parents are Joe and Laura Vanderdrink…a business major…played ASA travel ball with the Fury Gold (2011-12), Strike Force (2010-11) and the So Cal Batbusters (2008-10)…sister, Brittany, is currently a junior on the Arizona Western College softball team.
