High School
A 2012 graduate of Bonita Vista High School in Chula Vista, Calif…played four years of varsity softball as a starting pitcher…a two-time first team all-state selection (2011-12), two-time Mesa League Pitcher of the Year (2011-12), three-time first team all-San Diego Section choice (2010-12), three-time first team all-Mesa League selection (2010-12), two-time San Diego Union Tribune all-academic choice (2011-12) and two-time team captain (2011-12)…was also a second team all-state selection as a sophomore in 2010, and a second team all-league choice as a freshman in 2009…finished her four-year career with a 74-12 record to go along with a 1.18 ERA, 63 complete games, 23 shutouts and 537 strikeouts in 552.0 innings…had an ERA of 1.58 or better all four seasons…led the Barons to four consecutive Mesa League titles, including a combined 102-18-2 overall record and a 39-1 league mark…picked up the win in 73 percent of those 102 victories…as a senior, she led Bonita Vita to its first-ever CIF San Diego Section Division II title after going 19-1 with 15 complete games, a 1.22 ERA, and 122 strikeouts in 126.0 innings…went 25-2 with a 1.58 ERA as a junior, 19-6 with a 0.77 ERA as a sophomore, and 11-3 with a 1.16 ERA as a freshman…committed just 13 errors during her career, including one during her senior season.

Personal
Parents are Mike and Dana Hartman…an undeclared major…played nine years of ASA softball, most recently spending two seasons with the So Cal Breakers Gold team…played on the 2011 So Cal Breakers squad with Hornet teammate Riley Price…a total of eight players from that 2011 squad committed to play for a Div. I softball program.
