Appeared in two games...scored in a pinch running role in the second game of the year against Santa Clara...fouled out against Stanford on Feb. 13 in her only plate appearance of the season.

High School
A 2006 graduate of Clayton Valley High School in Concord, Calif...played three years of basketball, and four years of varsity softball...in softball, she was named all-Bay Valley Athletic League in both 2005 and 2006...played at shortstop, third base, outfield and pitcher...named team MVP and nominated as the Clayton Valley High School Athlete of the Year in 2006...batted over .700 during her junior season...a North Coast Section Scholar Athlete and member of the honor roll all four years...also a California Scholarship Federation graduate member.

Born April 21, 1988...parents are Bob and Pam Thornton...majoring in interior design and has a 3.77 gpa...was a gymnast before playing softball...brother, Julian, plays high school baseball...played for four different ASA softball teams from 1999-06...played second base, third base and outfield in 2006 for the Fremont Strikezone.
