2007 Season
Played in 46 games, including 26 starts at pitcher, 18 starts at designated player and one start at first base...an honorable mention all-PCSC selection...as the team’s pitching ace, she led the team in wins (12), appearances (30), starts (26), complete games (20), shutouts (2), innings (180.1) and strikeouts (96)...offensively, she was third on the team with a .298 batting average to go along with nine doubles, one triple, three home runs, 15 RBIs, a .460 slugging percentage, 23 walks and a .424 on-base percentage...the 23 walks were easily the most on the team and tied for the fourth most in Sacramento State Div. I (1990-pres.) single-season history...after beginning the season with a 2-7 record in the circle, Meeks completed the last six weeks of the year by going 10-5 with a 2.52 ERA over that span...that included allowing just one run in each of her last four starts...named PCSC Pitcher of the Week on May 7 after going 2-0 with a 1.17 ERA in a pair of victories over Saint Mary’s...offensively, she hit .308 (20-65) with runners on base and .340 (16-47) with two outs...had 10 multiple-hit games and a season high six-game hitting streak (March 16-24).

Prior to Sacramento State

Spent her freshman season (2005) at PCSC rival Loyola Marymount...was a second team all-region and second team all-PCSC selection after posting a 13-4 record and league-best 0.99 ERA...her ERA was also the 15th best mark in the nation...in 25 appearances with the Lions, she had 11 complete games, five shutouts and one save...led LMU to a PCSC championship and a berth in the NCAA Regionals...in her only start vs. the Hornets during the 2005 season, she allowed three runs and eight hits in five innings...picked up the no-decision in that game which LMU eventually won...that game clinched the conference championship for the Lions...also started 24 games in the outfield, and hit .287 with four home runs and nine RBIs...had a team-best 11-game hitting streak from March 14-30...spent the 2005-06 academic year at West Hills Community College...did not play softball due to the interconference transfer rule.

High School
A 2004 graduate of Hanford West High School in California...played four years of softball, three seasons of volleyball and two years of soccer...in softball, she was a four-time all-league selection, including the league MVP in 2003 and 2004...received second team all-state honors in 2004 after going 20-7 with a 0.47 ERA and 255 strikeouts in 194.0 innings...hit .410 with a .478 on-base percentage and a .650 slugging percentage...also a three-time all-Central Valley Area selection (2002-04), three-time team MVP (2002-04) and two-time team captain (2003-04)...led the softball team to three league championships – West Sequoia League in 2002; West Yosemite League in 2003 and 2004...during her junior season, she posted an 18-9 record to go along with a 0.57 ERA with 293 strikeouts in 210 innings...also hit .356 with 15 runs and 20 RBIs...set school records with 713 career strikeouts and 111 career hits...also led the soccer squad to a pair of league championships (2001-02) as the team's starting forward.

Born July 6, 1986...parents are Kevin and Sandy Meeks...majoring in health science and has a 3.60 gpa...her three brothers, Kirk (baseball), Konor (baseball) and Kent (wrestler), are each involved in athletics...father, Kevin, was a student-athlete in football, wrestling and baseball...played five years of club softball for the Fresno Force...her father spent time coaching that team.
