High School
A 2006 graduate of Rio Vista High School...played four years of both softball and basketball for the Rams...a four-time all-Sacramento Valley League selection and team MVP...hit .375 as a senior and recorded 48 putouts as the team's catcher...had two triples, a double and five pickoffs against Pierce High School as a junior...in basketball, she was the team's most improved player in 2002 and 2003.

Personal
Born July 3, 1988...parents are Nick and Angie Adkins...a business major with a 3.08 gpa...played catcher for the Contra Costa Cobras in 2005-06...helped the Cobras to the NSA (National Softball Association) Nor Cal state championship this past summer...hit .400 in five games during the tournament.
