2010 Season
A first team all-PCSC Coastal Division selection and the division’s freshman of the year after completing one of the top freshman seasons in school history...hit .391 (59-151) with 32 runs, 15 doubles, eight home runs, 40 RBIs, a .446 on-base percentage, and was a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts...appeared in 50 games, including 49 starts...that included 34 starts at third base, nine at designated player and six at second base...led Hornet regulars in batting average, hits, doubles, home runs, RBIs, total bases (98), slugging percentage (.649), on-base percentage, multiple-hit games (18) and multiple-RBI games (10)...the .391 batting average is the second best mark ever posted by a Hornet freshman, and the 40 RBIs are also the second highest mark by a first-year player...in addition, the average is the fourth best single-season mark in school history, and the 40 RBIs and 15 doubles are both the third best marks...her seven RBIs against Santa Clara on April 29 set the Sacramento State single-game record...hit safely in each of the final nine games of the season, and scored at least one run in all of those games...over that nine-game stretch, she hit .545 (18-33) with 13 runs, four doubles, three home runs and 13 RBIs...had three hitting streaks of at least six games long, including two nine-gamers...one of the team’s most clutch hitters, Jones hit .413 (33-80) with runners on base, .404 (19-47) with runners in scoring position and .456 (26-57) with two outs...23 of her 40 RBIs came with two outs in an inning...against PCSC competition (20 games), she hit .435 with 21 runs, six doubles, four home runs and 20 RBIs...among Coastal Division leaders (conference only stats), Jones ranked second in batting average, runs (21) and hits, third in RBIs and total bases (48), and fourth in slugging percentage (.696)...had a walk-off RBI-double in a 3-2 win over Pacific on Feb. 14.

High School

A 2009 graduate of Antioch High School in Antioch, Calif...a four-year varsity starter, four-time scholar-athlete award recipient and three-time team captain...as the team’s starting catcher during her senior season, she was named first team all-Bay Valley Athletic League after batting .700 with a league-high eight home runs...also led the Panthers in RBIs, runs and hits...had multiple-home run games against Liberty, Pittsburg and Berkeley High Schools...helped lead the 2009 squad to a 19-7 overall record and a second-place finishing 11-4 mark in the BVAL...as a junior, she hit .465 with five home runs, an .878 slugging percentage and a .528 on-base percentage....also played two years of volleyball at Antioch High School.

Personal
Born Feb. 24, 1991...parents are Doug and Marie Jones...an undeclared major..played with the NorCal Shockers from 2007-09...hit better than .375 each year with the Shockers.
