2010 Season
Made 19 appearances in the circle, including 14 starts, five complete games and one shutout...went 2-6 with a 4.42 ERA...tossed 76.0 innings, and allowed just three home runs (one every 25.1 innings)...tossed a one-hit shutout on March 20 against Utah State...in that game, she allowed just one hit while walking none and striking out five over seven innings...excluding a pair of rough starts against Boise State and Colorado State, she posted a 3.06 ERA in her other 17 appearances...recorded her other victory in an 8-4 win over UC Riverside where she allowed four hits and no earned runs in six innings.
2009 Season
Appeared in 29 games, including 15 starts in right field...appeared in a team-high nine games as a pinch runner, scoring on four of those occasions...hit .209 (9-43) with 11 runs, two RBIs, three walks, two sacrifices and was 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts...batted .286 (4-14) against conference competition with five runs and two RBIs.
2008 Season
Made three appearances in the circle, including one start...had a 1-1 record with a 7.00 ERA, but limited the opposition to a .222 batting average...made a team-best 14 appearances as a pinch runner, and scored five runs.
High School
A 2007 graduate of Downey High School in California...played four years of softball for the Vikings at both pitcher and in the infield...a four-time all-San Gabriel Valley League selection (three-time first team selection), Serrano batted .301 with a .462 slugging percentage and team highs in at-bats (93) and RBIs (22) during her senior year...as a pitcher, she was 13-7 with a 1.37 ERA and had 104 strikeouts in 138.1 innings...as a junior, she went 6-1 with a 1.44 ERA while batting .373 with a .439 on-base percentage, a .542 slugging percentage and 14 RBIs...also as a junior, she posted four shutouts, including a one-hitter of Lynwood High School and a 12-strikeout performance of Paso Robles High School.

Born Oct. 25, 1989...parents are Mark and Carole Serrano...a family and consumer sciences major...brother, Mark, pitched the 2005 and 2007 seasons for Cypress College.
