2009 Season
Appeared in 43 games, including 37 starts in center field...hit .318 (14-44) against conference competition with three doubles, one triple, one home run and nine RBIs in 17 games...over her last seven games of the season, she batted .500 (10-20) with two doubles, a triple, a home run and eight RBIs...overall for the season, she hit .235 (23-98) with 16 runs, 13 RBIs, six sacrifices and was 6-for-7 in stolen base attempts...committed just three errors all season in center field, and had five outfield assists...had a two-out, walkoff RBI-single in the eighth inning to beat 12th-ranked Cal on March 24...went 4-for-4 with two runs, a double, a home run and two RBIs against Santa Clara on May 2.

A 2008 graduate of Oak Grove High School in San Jose, Calif...played four years of varsity softball for the Eagles where she was the leadoff hitter and starting shortstop every season...a four-time all-league selection, including first team the last three years and second team her freshman season...led the team to three conference championships (2005, 2007, 2008)...three-year team captain and team MVP...named the league MVP and first team all-Mercury News as a senior after batting .545 with nine home runs, 36 RBIs, 19 stolen bases, 41 runs, seven triples and eight doubles...as a junior, she batted .582 with four home runs, 19 stolen bases and 36 RBIs.

Born April 24, 1990...parents are Jaime and Tina Noriega...an undeclared major...cousin, Curtis Shaw, is a running back at the University of Washington...played six years for the San Jose Sting, where the team qualified for ASA Nationals every year...with the San Jose Sting, she was teammates with fellow Sacramento State teammates Alyssa Nakken, Marissa Navarro and Kelly Shepard.
