2008 Season
Had the rare distinction of being named all-conference at two positions, including first team as a designated player and second team as a pitcher...led the Hornets’ pitching staff in victories (14), starts (27), complete games (13), shutouts (3), innings (144.1) and strikeouts (89)...went 14-9 with a 3.54 ERA, and limited the opposition to a .273 batting average...won nine of her final 13 decisions of the season...lost just three decisions from March 25 until the end of the season...offensively, she hit .298 (37-for-124) with seven doubles, one triple, 24 RBIs and a .350 on-base percentage...had a career-high and team season-high 11-game hitting streak from April 6-27...hit safely in 14 of her last 18 games...hit .379 against PCSC competition...batted .304 (17-for-56) with runners in scoring position...named PCSC Pitcher of the Week on March 13...also named to the 2008 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VIII second team.

2007 Season
Played in 46 games, including 26 starts at pitcher, 18 starts at designated player and one start at first base...an honorable mention all-PCSC selection...as the Hornets' No. 1 starter, she led the team in wins (12), appearances (30), starts (26), complete games (20), shutouts (2), innings (180.1) and strikeouts (96)...offensively, she was third on the team with a .298 batting average to go along with nine doubles, one triple, three home runs, 15 RBIs, a .460 slugging percentage, 23 walks and a .424 on-base percentage...the 23 walks were easily the most on the team and tied for the fourth most in Sacramento State Div. I (1990-pres.) single-season history...after beginning the season with a 2-7 record in the circle, Meeks completed the last six weeks of the year by going 10-5 with a 2.52 ERA over that span...that included allowing just one run in each of her last four starts...named PCSC Pitcher of the Week on May 7...offensively, she hit .308 (20-65) with runners on base and .340 (16-47) with two outs...had 10 multiple-hit games...named to the PCSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Prior to Sacramento State
Spent her freshman season (2005) at PCSC rival Loyola Marymount...was a second team all-region and second team all-PCSC selection after posting a 13-4 record and league-best 0.99 ERA...her ERA was also the 15th best mark in the nation...in 25 appearances with the Lions, she had 11 complete games, five shutouts and one save...led LMU to a PCSC championship and a berth in the NCAA Regionals...also started 24 games in the outfield, and hit .287 with four home runs and nine RBIs...spent the 2005-06 academic year at West Hills Community College...did not play softball due to the interconference transfer rule.

High School
A 2004 graduate of Hanford West High School in California...played four years of softball, three seasons of volleyball and two years of soccer...in softball, she was a four-time all-league selection, including the league MVP in 2003 and 2004...received second team all-state honors in 2004 after going 20-7 with a 0.47 ERA and 255 strikeouts in 194.0 innings...hit .410 with a .478 on-base percentage and a .650 slugging percentage...also a three-time all-Central Valley Area selection (2002-04), three-time team MVP (2002-04) and two-time team captain (2003-04)...led the softball team to three league championships – West Sequoia League in 2002; West Yosemite League in 2003 and 2004...set school records with 713 career strikeouts and 111 career hits.

Personal
Born July 6, 1986...parents are Kevin and Sandy Meeks...majoring in health science and has a 3.69 gpa...graduated in the spring of 2008 and will attend nursing school in 2008-09...her three brothers, Kirk (baseball), Konor (baseball) and Kent (wrestler) are each involved in athletics...father, Kevin, was a student-athlete in football, wrestling and baseball.
