FRIDAY’S SOFTBALL DOUBLEHEADER POSTPONED, WILL NOW PLAY A TRIPLEHEADER ON SATURDAY

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Due to inclement weather that has hit the Sacramento area hard last night and into this morning, today’s softball doubleheader against Saint Mary’s has been postponed. The Hornets and Gaels were supposed to play at noon today, but the entire field is drenched and unplayable.
The two teams were supposed to play a doubleheaders today and tomorrow as part of a four-game Pacific Coast Softball Conference series. Instead, Sacramento State and Saint Mary’s will now play a tripleheader Saturday morning at 10 a.m. The fourth game of the series will be made up later at a date and time to be determined.
