TODAY’S SOFTBALL DOUBLEHEADER AT LOYOLA MARYMOUNT PUSHED BACK TO 4 P.M.

LOS ANGELES - Due to poor field conditions because of rain that hit the Los Angles area yesterday and overnight, today’s softball doubleheader between Sacramento State and Loyola Marymount has been pushed back to a 4 p.m. start. The two teams were originally scheduled to play at 10 a.m. today.
The teams will likely play one game today at 4 p.m., and a tripleheader tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m. However, there is a possibility that should today’s 4 p.m. game end in quick fashion, the two teams could elect to start a second game and play until it gets dark (LMU does not have lights on its home field). The teams would then resume that second game wherever it left off tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
