Violett recorded a pair of NCAA provisional marks with a long jump of 20-00.25 and a pole vault of 12-11.75. Her pole vault, not only broke her own school record, it is tied for the 24th best in Div. Violett also moved into second place in school history in the long jump and is now fourth in the record book with a Big Sky leading time of 8.66 seconds.
Robinson broke her own school record in the 800 with a time of 2:09.67. Her time now leads the Big Sky by 3.4 seconds over teammate Lea Wallace and is over four seconds ahead of the closest competitor from a different team.
Brookins became the first Hornet to run the 60-hurdles in less than eight seconds as he crossed the line in the final in 7.96 seconds. Brookins opened the competition with a time of 7.99 in the qualifying round and finished second in the final. He has now improved his time in every meet this season.
