2018 Season
Posted one of the best seasons by any player in school history, and was named second team all-Pacific Region, Big Sky Conference MVP, Big Sky Tournament MVP and a unanimous first team all-conference choice…first position player in Sacramento State Div. I history (1990-pres.) to be named all-region in back-to-back years…started all 51 games in left field…first Hornet to ever be named all-region during both her freshman and sophomore seasons…became just the second player in Big Sky history to win both conference MVP and conference tournament MVP honors in the same year…set the program single-season record for homers with 18, surpassing the previous record of 15, a mark Brookshire set as a freshman…hit .371 with 13 doubles, 18 homers, 51 RBIs, 27 walks, 125 total bases, an .828 slugging percentage, .461 on-base percentage and a massive 1.289 ops…was also 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts…ranked among the top three players in the Big Sky in average, runs, homers, doubles, RBIs, slugging percentage, on-base percentage and total bases…ranked eighth in the nation in home runs per game (0.35), 17th in slugging percentage, 18th in homers and 34th in RBIs per game (1.00)…her 51 RBIs were two shy of the program single-season record…hit safely in 38 games…had a 17-game hitting streak (March 6-31), tied for the fourth longest in program history…had a team-high 13 multiple-RBI games…named Big Sky Player of the Week and Sacramento State Student-Athlete of the Week on March 19…with the Hornets down to their last out, Brookshire had game-winning home runs on two occasions, including a grand slam at Weber State that gave the Hornets a 4-3 win, and a three-run homer at Northern Colorado that gave the Hornets a 13-12 win…in 15 opportunities with a runner at third base and less than two outs, she drove in the run 10 times…despite playing just two seasons thus far, Brookshire is first in school history in career slugging percentage (.775), second in home runs (33), third in on-base percentage (.452), fourth in batting average (.364) and fifth in RBIs (88).

2017 Season
Put together one the greatest freshman season in school history…a third team all-Pacific Region, first team all-Big Sky Conference selection and Sacramento State’s Female Newcomer of the Year after starting 49 of the Hornets’ 50 games…42 of those starts came in left field…became just the fourth Sacramento State freshman to receive all-region accolades, joining Desiree Beltran (2009), Lindy Winkler (2003) and Tami Blunt (1993)…overall, she became the 13th Hornet to receive all-region honors during the program’s Div. I era (1990-pres.)…led or tied for the team lead in batting average (.358), runs scored (43), hits (54), doubles (8), home runs (15), total bases (109), slugging percentage (.722), on-base percentage (.443) and ops (1.165)…reached base safely in all but seven games (including a run of 19 straight games from Feb. 25 until March 25), and had a team-best 17 multiple-hit contests…batted .432 with runners in scoring position and .367 with two outs…hit .393 with seven home runs and 18 RBIs in Big Sky play…among conference leaders, she ranked first in home runs, second in slugging percentage and total bases, third in runs scored, sixth in walks (22) and on-base percentage, and seventh in batting average.

High School
A 2016 graduate of San Benito High School in Hollister, Calif…a four-year starter for the varsity squad…started games at catcher and third base…during her career, the Haybalers combined for a 98-15-1 overall record, a 44-3 mark in the Monterey Bay - Gabilan League, three CIF Central Coast Section championships (2013, 2015, 2016) and four league titles…the team almost won four straight section titles but lost in the championship game in 2014…a two-time Cal-Hi Sports all-state selection (2015-16), two-time co-league MVP (2015-16), two-time first team all-section (2015-16) and three-time first team all-league choice (2014-16)…over her final two seasons, she hit .505 (92-for-182) with 25 doubles, 10 triples, 22 home runs, 13 stolen bases, 97 RBIs, a .543 on-base percentage and a 1.637 ops…played in 55 games over those final two seasons, averaging a massive 1.76 RBIs per game…as a senior, she hit .451 with 13 home runs and 42 RBIs in 28 games…as a junior, she clubbed nine home runs with 55 RBIs in 27 games…had an ops above 1.500 during both her final two seasons, including 1.555 as a senior and 1.762 as a junior.

Personal
A kinesiology major…parents are Alan and Stacey…played club softball for the Sorcerers of Northern California.
