2017 Beach Season
Posted a 7-7 record with teammate Courtney Dietrich…all 14 of those matches came at No. 5 in the team’s lineup…the duo won five of their final six matches of the season…went 2-1 at the Big West Tournament, securing a straight set win over CSUN, and a three-set victory against Long Beach State…won each of their final three regular season matches, which all came on the same day against teams from San Francisco, San Jose State and Cal Poly…Murdock played in all of the final 14 matches of the season after not playing in the Hornets’ first five contests of the season.

2016 Beach Season
Went 4-13 in her second season of beach volleyball, and played with five different partners…that included a 2-7 record at No. 5 with Kennedy Kurtz, 1-4 with Lauren Aikels at No. 4, 1-0 with Lana Brown at No. 5, 0-1 at No. 5 with Brie Gathright, and 0-1 at No. 5 with Julia Wright…played the final nine matches of the season with Kurtz at No. 5…Murdock beat opponents from Saint Mary’s, San Jose State, CSU Bakersfield and Cal Poly…each of her four wins came in straight sets.

2015 Beach Season
Played in 11 matches during her first season of sand volleyball, and posted a 4-7 record…went 3-5 at No. 5 with Kennedy Kurtz, and 1-2 at No. 5 with Courtney Dietrich…with Kurtz, she posted straight sets wins over teams from Saint Mary’s and twice over San Jose State…the victory with Dietrich came in three sets against San Francisco.

High School
A 2014 graduate of Reno High School in Reno, Nev…played three sports for the Huskies, including four years of volleyball, two seasons of basketball and one year of softball…in volleyball, she received all-High Desert League recognition twice, including second team as a senior and honorable mention during her junior season…spent each of her final three years on the varsity squad…selected by teammates as the Huskies’ team captain in 2013 and 2014…had 69 digs in the 2014 Div. I Northern Regional semifinal match against Spanish Springs High School…overall, she averaged 17 digs per match during her senior season.

Parents are Rick and Thea Murdock…a communication studies major…played club for the Northern Nevada Juniors in Sparks, Nev., where she was teammates with current Hornet Hannah Meadows.
