ROWING OPENS PRACTICE TO THE PUBLIC

The Sacramento State rowing team will open its practices for beginning rowers and anyone who would like to learn about the program. The team will conduct open practices from Sept. 9-13, primarily in the morning on campus.

Practices will last about 90 minutes, and the team will go through conditioning as well as train on rowing machines (ergometers). On-campus practice will take place each morning from Sept. 9-12, and the team will shift its open practice on the 13th to the Sacramento State Aquatic Center.

Anyone interested in viewing on-campus practice can meet in front of the Athletics Center on campus at 6:30 a.m. (Sept. 9-12). Anyone interested in attending the off-campus practice can meet at the Aquatic Center on the Sept. 13 at 2:15 p.m.  The schedule is below. Below is the scheduled start time for each practice from Sept. 9-13. Practice times are subject to change.

Monday, Sept. 9 - 6:30 a.m. (Athletics Center on campus)
Tuesday, Sept. 10 - 6:30 a.m. (Athletics Center on campus)
Wednesday, Sept. 11 - 6:30 a.m. (Athletics Center on campus)
Thursday, Sept. 12 - 6:30 a.m. (Athletics Center on campus)
Friday, Sept. 13 - 2:15 p.m. (Sacramento State Aquatic Center)
