The Sacramento State rowing team will open its on-campus practices for beginning rowers and anyone who would like to learn about the program. The team will conduct practices in the morning at Sacramento State from Sept. 6-14.
Practices will last about 90 minutes, and the team will go through conditioning as well as train on rowing machines (ergometers).
Anyone interested in viewing practice can meet in front of the Athletics Center on campus at 6:30 a.m. The schedule is below. For any questions, please contact assistant coach George Jenkins at email@example.com.
Below is the scheduled start time for each practice from Sept. 6-14. Practice times are subject to change.
Thursday, Sept. 6 - 6:30 a.m.
Friday, Sept. 7 - 6:30 a.m.
Monday, Sept. 10 - 6:30 a.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 11 - 6:30 a.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 12 - 6:30 a.m.
Thursday, Sept. 13 - 6:30 a.m.
Friday, Sept. 14 - 6:30 a.m.
There will be an open house on Friday, Aug. 31, at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center at 4:30 p.m. for anyone interested in the rowing team. Food and refreshments will be served.
