As a senior (2019): Named first team all-American Athletic Conference after competing with the varsity eight in every spring race…also named team MVP as she earned the Most Outstanding Rower award at the team’s end of season banquet…dating back to her sophomore year, she competed with the varsity eight in 32 spring races…this season, she rowed in three different seats, primarily in the two seat…sat at two on nine occasions, and once in both the bow and four seats…competed in the two seat during the final seven races of the year…sat at two with the varsity eight’s wins over Tulsa and Miami at the Lake Natoma Invitational…also sat at two for the Hornets’ 43-second win over UC Davis in the season finale.
As a junior (2018): A team co-captain…one of five Hornets to race with the varsity eight in all 12 spring races…sat at bow in each of those races…helped the varsity eight to a silver medal at the San Diego Crew Classic, the highest finish for the boat at the event since the 2009 season…helped the V8 to a 45-second victory over UC Davis…has yet to miss a spring regatta during each of her first three seasons with the team.
As a sophomore (2017): Competed with the varsity eight in nine races, and with the second varsity eight in two races…with the varsity eight, she stroked the boat to first place finishes at the Sacramento State Invitational and Hornet Invitational…sat in the two seat for the varsity eight’s bronze medal winning performance at the American Athletic Conference Championship…sat at stroke five times, in the two seat on three occasions, and once in the six seat…sat once in both the two and six seats with the second varsity eight…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association, recognizing rowing student-athletes that maintain a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average…an American Athletic Conference all-academic selection.
As a freshman (2016): Competed with the varsity four in 10 spring races…sat in the stroke seat eight times with the varsity four and twice in the three seat…sat at three with the varsity four at the American Athletic Conference Championship…also sat in the four seat on a pair of occasions with the second varsity eight…that included sitting at four with the second varsity eight’s silver medal winning performance at the WIRA Championship.
Personal: Graduated from Sacramento State with a criminal justice degree in May of 2019.
