STINGER GOLF TOURNAMENT RAISES $25,000 FOR ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS 9/18/2008 SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- One hundred and twenty eight golfers participated in the fifth-annual Stinger Athletic Association Golf Tournament at Haggin Oaks Golf Course Monday in support of the Sacramento State scholarship program. In all, $25,000 was raised and will go directly into the annual scholarship drive which supports more than 450 Sacramento State student-athletes.   The tournament was moved to Haggin Oaks this year to showcase the Stinger Athletic Association’s commitment to the Sacramento community and Hornet Athletics.
