20 HORNETS NAMED TO THE BIG SKY CONFERENCE SPRING ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM 7/3/2007 SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Big Sky Conference named 20 Sacramento State student-athletes to its spring all-academic team. The honor is given to student-athletes who have participated in at least half of the team’s competitions, achieved at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and have completed at least one academic term at a Big Sky institution. Big Sky Conference spring sports include women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s and women’s outdoor track and field. Sacramento State’s list of 20 student-athletes include 12 multiple time winners of the award, including four-time Big Sky All-Academic selections Jennifer Parkes (golf), Warwick Foy (tennis) and Anais Castillo-Springer (track and field).
