FRESNO, Calif. -- The Sacramento State men’s tennis team began its fall season at the 18th annual Bulldog Classic held at Fresno State this past weekend. Four players represented the Hornets during the three-day event (Sept. 30-Oct. 2) at the Wathen Tennis Center.
Brandys and Marksoo both competed in the Flight A singles portion of the event, with Marksoo advancing to the Round of 16, and Brandys getting knocked out in Round 3 of the consolation bracket.
Kolar and Hultkrantz played in Flight B singles, and both players advanced to the Round of 16 before falling.
In doubles play, the tandem of Brandys/Marksoo reached Flight A’s Round of 16, and Hultkrantz/Kolar fell in the Round of 16 of Flight B.

The Hornets return to action later this week (Oct. 7-9) when the compete at the Aztec Fall Invitational in San Diego.
