LMU opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches. The Hornet duo of freshmen Anders Albertsen and Jakub Sliva fell to Tigran Martirosyan and Leo Graeubig, 8-3, at No. 1 doubles. At the two, junior Nick Sheehan and sophomore Matt Jones lost their match to Jaakko Asuja and Mike Wojnarowicz, 8-4. At the No. 3 spot, sophomore Peter Farkas and freshman Lewis Van Splunteren dropped a tough 8-6, loss to Anthony Eurard and Rob Kennedy.

In singles play, Sheehan lost at the one to Martirosyan, 6-3 6-2. Jones fell to Graeubig at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-3. At the No. 3 spot, Sliva fell to Eurard, 6-0, 6-3. Albertsen fell to Asuja at the four, 6-3, 6-3. Van Splunteren dropped his match to Wojnarowicz at the five, 6-3, 6-2. Farkas dropped a heartbreaking 6-0, 2-6, 7-6 match to Kennedy at the No. 6 spot.
