Nick Brunner enters his second straight season as the Hornets' volunteer assistant in 2019-20.
A 2007 graduate of Cornell, Brunner is a four-time all-Ivy League award selection, winning the honor three times in doubles and once in singles. He was the Big Red’s No. 1 singles player and tri-captain of the squad his senior year of 2007, and later served as an assistant coach at Cornell during both the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons.
Prior to Cornell, Brunner was a four-time all-city selection at Jesuit High School in Carmichael, Calif., where he was named team MVP his junior year. He was also team captain during his final two seasons.
