Played in 18 games while making 17 starts at center back...scored one goal, but it was one of the biggest goals of the season...collected a rebound off a header to score from six yards out in the 104th minute to help the Hornets win at rival UC Davis, 3-2, in double overtime....played 1,527 minutes, the second most on the team...took eight total shots.
PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played one season at Sonoma State in 2009 before transferring to American River College for the 2010 season...was named Big 8 Conference Defensive MVP at ARC in addition to garnering first-team all-league honors...had one assist from his back line position.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Del Oro HS in 2008...played for head coach David Shiro.

Parents are Greg and Kirstin Bernard...brother, Matt, was an All-America goalkeeper for Sonoma State from 2001 to 2003...major is geography.
