Redshirted the season following a knee injury that occurred during the exhibition season.

A 2009 graduate of Jesuit HS in Carmichael, Calif...four-year letterwinner in soccer for coach Paul Rose...team was ranked No. 1 in the nation by both ESPN and the NSCAA in 2008...played with Hornet teammate Matt Linenberger...also a three-year letterwinner in lacrosse...played club soccer with the Cal Rush.
