AS A SOPHOMORE (2006)
Emerged as a dangerous scoring threat and more confident player on the ball during his sophomore season...took over the starting spot on the leftside of midfield, appearing in 16 matches (starting nine)....finished the year with three goals and a career-high four assists...early in the season assisted on Jack Jones’ game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Valparaiso...he also assisted on Oscar Sandoval’s goal at San Jose State...also struck the game winner in a 2-1 overtime victory against UNLV, breaking free along the left side and chipping the game winner into the box.
AS A FRESHMAN (2005)
One of Sacramento State’s quickest players on the field, he played in all 18 matches and made two starts...a dangerous player on the left side of midfield, he finished his season with a goal and assist...his first career goal came in the 86th minute during a 2-0 shutout of UC Davis on Oct. 2...later tallied an assist on Oscar Sandoval’s game winner in the 89th minute in a 2-1 victory at UNLV on Oct.16.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2005 graduate of Del Oro High School in Loomis, Calif...played two seasons (2001 and 2003) for the Golden Eagles under head coach Dave Shiro...as a junior in 2003, he was named Sierra Foothill League MVP while also being named to the Sacramento Bee’s all-metro first team... played eight years of club soccer, most recently for Placer United...a left-footed player, he was used at forward and left wing...in 2005, his club team was a State Cup finalist...he also helped lead his team to three consecutive (2002-04) California Cup Championships...in 2001, 2002 and 2004, he won the District VI league championship with Placer United...from 2001-03 competed for the Region IV ODP team and from 2001-04, he competed for the CAL North State team...was club teammates with current Hornet Adam Owens.
