AS A FRESHMAN (2006)
A solid player off the bench for the Hornets, he helped Sacramento State on both the back line and up top...mostly used as a defender, he appeared in 13 matches and made four starts...will likely be used at right back as a sophomore, brings speed to the back line...scored his first carer goal against Pacific Union on Sept. 24.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2006 graduate of Natomas High School in Sacramento, Calif...has the ability to play forward or on the back line...his senior season, Johnson was named to the Sacramento Bee’s all-Metro first team after leading the Sierra Foothill Conference with 25 goals and seven assists...team captain and team MVP of the Nighthawks, he helped lead Natomas to an 11-4-2 record and was also named MVP of the SFL...played varsity for three seasons, voted most improved as a sophomore and earned the coaches award as a junior...played club soccer with River City United and reached the State Cup Finals twice...also played freshman and junior varsity basketball at Natomas.
