A 2007 graduate of Hilmar High School...played four seasons for the Yellowjackets in the midfield...three time all-Western Athletic Conference honoree...was named Most Valuable Offensive Player of the WAC his final three seasons...as a senior recorded 18 goals and six assists in leading Hilmar to the Division V Sac-Joaquin Section Championship...scored two goals and added an assist in section semifinal game...scored 14 goals and compiled 10 assists during his junior campaign...as a sophomore in 2004, led the Yellowjackets to the Division IV Sac-Joaquin Section Championship...competed at the club level for the Turlock Tornadoes, leading them into the State Cup quarterfinals in 2007...played with fellow newcomer Chris Bettencourt, who is his cousin, at both the high school and club levels.
